Swimming in Waiouru

The Waiouru Swimming Club conducts swimming sessions every Tuesday and Wednesday. Three classes are run with the first class starting at 4.30pm until 5pm for youngsters up to the age of 5 years old. The other two classes share the main pool, age group for one is 5-6 years old the other group 6-9 years old. The Swimming Club will hold a swimming carnival on Tuesday 12 December and a barbeque on Wednesday 13 December to end the 1989 season. The club will start the new season in February 1990.
