Turoa ski instructors picked for Interski

Turoa Ski Instructors Warren Scott and Hamish McPherson have earned themselves the chance to challenge the world in the 1991 World Interski to be held in Austria. Hamish and Warren will join nine other selected ski instructors to demonstrate specialised ski techniques adopted individually in New Zealand. The World In-

terski event is scheduled every four years, with the New Zealand team selected by New Zealand Ski Alliance examiners. Th'e instructors were tested on form and technique though a number of compulsory tasks. The team will be seeking sponsorship from the skiing industry. The team consists of

Queenstown; Andrew Wilson, Queenstown; Warren Scott, Ruapehu (Turoa); Martin Gray, Mt Hutt; Hamish McPherson, Ruapehu (Turoa); William Boyd, Cardona; Fiona Boyer, Queenstown; Barry George, Ruapehu (Whakapapa); Mark Smith, Queenstown.
