Women's clinic

An Ohakune Well Women's Clinic day is to be held on Thursday 25 October at 99 Goldfinch Street, between 10am and 6pm. Because of the good response to the Raetihi Clinic day and the high number of women requesting cervical smears, it is now necessary to make an appointment if you wish to be smeared. The smear takers will be available between 10.30am and 4pm only. However, if you miss out it is almost certain clinics will be held on an on-going basis depending on the need for them. Other than the visiting Wanganui Public Health Nurse, Ani Prip from Taihape will also be available for consultation, Robyn Frogley, community dietitian and Rosemary Foster, occupational health nurse. If you would like an appointment for a smear, please contact Helen Pocknall, Public Health Nurse phone 54400.
