OHAKUNE COUPLE TAKE PART IN ART CEREMONY

Representatives from the Ohakune Maungarongo Marae were part of a 16-delegate party which flew to Sydney last Friday to take part in the opening ceremony of a Taonga Maori exhibition at the Sydney Museum. The exhibition is a mixture of traditional and modern Maori art and the Ohakune representatives were Mathew and Lei Mareikura.
