IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS WITHIN THE AREA SERVED BY THE WAIOURU TV TRANSLATOR BROADCASf COMMUNICATIONS LTD, and TVNZ advise viewers in the Waiouru area that, on 21 September (subject to favourable weather conditions), significant changes will be made to the TV1 translator serving the Waiouru area. The work is expected to take 6 hours to complete, during which period the TV1 service will be switched off. The service will be changed from channel 7 to channel 11. This change is required to permit the introduction of TV3 tranmissions, due to start in the Manawatu in November.
