Wrightsons livestock representative Bernie McGahan and his wife Shirley will be leaving the Waimarino for greener pastures in Kaikohe soon. Bernie will be taking up the position as Senior Livestock Rep and anctioneer there. Mr McGahan has worked for Wrightsons for four and a half years, after both he and Shirley moved here from Wellsford. Bernie's position has been filled by Peter Barnett, formerly of Marton. Mr Barnett and his finance Nicola say they are looking for-

ward to the change of environment. Mr Barnett has spent four years at Lincoln College in Christchurch where he studied for his Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce. He enjoys rugby, being a front row forward for Marton Old Boys Rugby team. Both he and Nicola hope to enjoy the skiing and tramping facilities in the area. Mr . McGahan says that leaving the Waimarino is going to be a very hard task. Both say they love the Waimarino and its people. He adds that he has no regrets about the life they have experienced here.
