Thank you, Artists

I would just like to say congratulations to the wonderful people who painted those pictures in the Ohakune Art Awards. It was a real pleasure to see them. Well done too, to the people who did all the hard work arranging the exhibition. I guess they are all volunteers which makes a thank-you all the more important. They say you can't get too much of a good thing though and I don't think we got too much of the art awards. That's my only grizzle, that there wasn't enough time to see the paintings, especially for working folk. The exhibition started on a Sunday evening and finished on a Saturday morning so you had to be quick to have a chance to see the paintings. I know it is hard work putting on such things but could we have some more time to see the art awards next time? The reason I ask is because I think the awards are really worth while and we should make the most of them.
