Waiouru candidate Gordon Mottram told the Bulletin late yesterday that the Internal Affairs Minister had approved the order in council to allow the late nominations for the Ruapehu District elections 'Council staff said they had heard rumours conceming the decision but could not confirm the news. An order in council must still go through cabinet and the Govemor General after approval from the minister.
