The Officer will be expected as a condition of employment, to obtain an A grade certificate within twelve months of employment by which time the Officer will ensure compliance with the Dog Control and Hydatids Council and the Bylaws and Policies of the Council. More specifically duties include registration and treatment of dogs, dog owner education and dog ranging. The successful applicant will be mature, able to work with minimal direct supervision and be able to relate to the public.
