Saturday's Turqa Tournament was well attended with results as follows: Ladies- 9 hole nett; N. Winter, 22 1/2. 27 hole nett; M. Wright, 93. Run-ner-up; R. Christensen, 97. 18 hole nett; G. Fraser. M. Wright holds the Chan Cup. Mens - 9 hole gross; J. Summeihays, 29. 27 hold nett; J. McCarten, 87. 27 hole nett runner-up; W. Marsh, 88. 27 hole gross: J. Summerhays, 106. 18 hole nett; G. Spry, 66. 18 hole nett runner-up; T. Geraghty, 67. 9 hole nett; F. Bright, 17 1/2. Sunday 27 August, a small team competed for the Captain's Cup. Senior results were: D. Windle, 40 pts; T. Fredericks Jnr, 38; B. Drinkwater, 38. Junior: T. Geraghty, 41 pts, plus Captain's Trophy; H.G. Geister, 39; B. Dowsett, 37; J. Hammond, 36. Two's were scored by G. Imhoff.
