Council section sold
A roadman's house section on the Raetihi - Pipiriki Road is to be sold to a neighbouring farmer The council is obliged to offer land taken under the Public Works Act 1928 back to the original owner or successor. That person offered to buy the section at its government valuation of $3000, which the council accepted.
