The Army race bikes the hard way!

Four ATG Workshops 'A* team won the "Tour de Camp" cycle race held in Waiouru last Wednesday. Second place went to QA Squadron and third place was School of Transport and Catering. The race was 40km, about one and a half hours, and each team had to complete as many 2km laps as pos-

sible in that time. There were six teams with 10 members in each, all using the same bike. Some of the bikes looked as if they should belong in a museum instead of a bike race, while one team had a tape deck strapped to the bike so they could listen to music while they rode!
