TWO PEOPLE STANDING FOR HEALTH BOARD

Two people have announced their intention to stand for the new Manawatu-Wanganui Area Health Board. They are present Waimarino representative on the Wanganui Area Health Board Dorothy Scarrow, and Waiouru social worker and Waiouru Community Advisory Committee member Kathy Frater. Waiouru man Gordon Mottram said earlier he would put his name forward if no-one else was nominated. Nominations for the board must be at the returning officer in Wanganui today (Friday 1 September).
