ART AWARDS CLOSE NEXT WEEK
Ohakune Art Awards entries close next Friday 18 August. Categories this year include one for young artists as well as a special Waimarino Artist's award. Awards convener Ellen Gould said there has so far been a lot of interest in the awards with ■ high demand for entry forms. She said however, so far there" has not been much interest in the young artist's section. While entry forms must be in by next Friday, artists' works have to be delivered by the following Friday, 26 August. Kunicraft in Ohakune still has entry forms available, said Mrs Gould.
