...and sparks!
$6000 worth of fireworks will light up Whakapapa's lower slopes on the night of Saturday 19 August. The display sponsored by Coca Cola is to mark the start of the school holidays and starts 6pm at the Top O' the Bruce. A sausage sizzle and free Coke and sparklers for the kids will be available. If there's bad weather the event will be held Sunday.
