Bruce Rd Kudos
Work on the Bruce Road sealing and deviation has won the Wanganui contractor responsible a construction award. B. Bullock and Company Limited received the Contractors' Federation Caltex construction award for medium sized companies. The Govemor General The Reverend Sir Paul Reeves presented the award at the group's annual conference in Palmerston North just a few days after the road was officially opened. At the opening Conservation Minister Phillip Woollaston congratulated all who worked on the project for their efforts in keeping the environmental impact to a minimum.
