Executive stress on slopes

Telerate New Zealand limited has announced the largest Corporate Ski Challenge ever held in New Zealand is set to take place at Mount Ruapehu over the weekend of September 22-24. Billed as "a race to the bottom, for the

people at the top" the Telerate Corporate Ski Challenge is expected to attract more than 35 teams from New Zealand's banks and leading companies. Telerate New Zealand manager Paul Atmore says it is a great opportunity to take those dealing room battles amongst competitors out onto the slopes for a weekend. The event is sponsored by Wilson Neill Wines and Spirits Ltd, The New Zealand Futures Exchange, Ski Yer Heart Out and national Business Review. Teams will compete for a prize pool in excess of $6,000. Having pushed themselves to the limit on

the slopes, participants will be treated to a champagne luncheon in a giant marquee at the foot of the Valley T-

Bar, hosted by sponsor ] Wilson Neill Wines and q Spirits Limited on be- J half of Tattinger. The Chateau Ton- i gariro has been fully J booked for the Chal- j lenge. The majestic i ballroom is the venue ^ for the prizegiving and I New Zealand Futures j Exchange Dinner and ^ Dance. 1 Following the suc- j cess of the inaugural q challenge last year Tel- J erate expects the j response to be en- l thusiastic. As entry numbers are restricted, j teams are advised to act ] quickly and to register now.
