Young folk dance

By

Phhjppa

French

'Cobbler Cobbler' and 'Pigeon House' werci just two of the folk dances performed by the Waiouru Junior Department of Waiouru Primary School last Wednesday. An excellent turn-out from parents made all the hours practicing worth while. For two of the five dances performed, parents were

invited to join in and this proved to be lots of fun for children and parents. Mr Higgins, the deputy principal and head of the Junior Department, said the display was a success thanks to the hard work from the teachers and children. He then thanked the parents for their support.
