Waimarino golf
Sundays Waimarino golf saw another fine day after a very heavy frost with the greens showing the efect of the hard winter to date. In the Senior section B Goldfinch, G Imhoff and J Summerhays came in with 31 points. In the toss G Imhoff came in the winner to take home 1st prize. Following on 36 points were P Goldfinch, J Ennis, MJ Kennedy and R Pearson. The Junior section went on the toss to P Evans from I Strachan both with 42 points. C Tumer 39, C McDonald 38, T Gcraghty, T Fredricks Snr, N Clarke
all on 37. Two's were scored by N Clarke, MJ Kennedy and J Summerhays. The senior Birdnest also went to J Summerhays. The days golf was sponsored by Farm Pak and Peach Cornwall.
