The attention of electors is drawn to the following:1. Every parliamentary elector with an address within the Ruapehu District in respect of which the person is registered as a parliamentary elector shall be qualified to be an elector of:a. The Ruapehu Constituency of the Manawatu - Wanganui Region. b. The Mayor of the Ruapehu District Council. c. A Ward of the Ruapehu District Council. d. A Community Board of the Ruapehu District Council (if a community board is constituted in respect of the ward in which the parliamentary elector is qualified to be an elctor of). 2. All residents of the Ruapehu District are strongly urged to check the roll to ensure that they are in fact enrolled and/or enrolment details are correct. 3. Where any person whose name does not appear on the electoral roll because it does not appear on the appropriate parliamentary roll claims to posses the necessary qualification as a parliamentary elector for the district, or where any person's name, address or occupation are incorrectly recorded on the electoral roll because they are incorrectly recorded on the parliamentary roll, that person may make application for registration or correction of registration as a parliamentary elector to the local Registrar of Electors by 1st September 1989.
