Neighbourhood support
Ruapehu Lions and police start a neighbourhood support programme this weekend by distributing a pamphlet at the same time as talking with Raetihi and Ohakune Residents. Constable Peter Gardener will speak about the programme on Wednesday's Raetihi meeting. Neighbourhood support is about communication amongst neighbours to let each other know that assistance is available, as well as keeping in contact with the police.
