Scouts run fun run for trip funds
Raetihi and Ohakune scouts held a fun run on Sunday to raise funds for their trip to a Jamboree in January 1990. The run was for 12 kilometres from Clyde Street Ohakune to the Raetihi Scout Den. Four Raetihi and two Ohakune boys aged between 7 and 15 took part in the run, which they organised themselves, along with sponsorship. With $500 needed each for the Jamboree trip the boys may hold another fun run.
