Sundays Waimarino golf was played in pleasant conditions and good scoring resulted especially in the Junior Division. In the Seniors B Goldfinch won on a draw from S Magee both with nett 69's. On 71 nett were T Fredricks Jnr, N Cranston, D Windle and R Summerhays. In the Junior Division C McDonald came in with 67 nett, followed by P Evans, A Donald, CC Pepene all on 68, J Murphy on 70 and E Rush on 71. Two's were scored by R Starke and E Rush and the Junior Birdsnest went to C Pepene with a birdie in No 1 and an eagle in No 8. The days golf was spOnsored by Ragtime and Wrightsons.
