MONTHLY POWER BILLS FOR KCEPB CONSUMERS?

The King Country Electric Power Board is considering billing its customers monthly instead of two-monthly as at present. General Manager Mr P.J. Till has recommended the change after a limited survey of Taumarunui consumers was carried out and found that almost all were emphatically in favour of monthly billing. His report to the Board showed there would be a greater cost in billing monthly but that there were "significant public relations and marketing advantages."
