Q.A. SQN held a Shadow day last Thursday, where wives work with their husbands to find out what exactly their jobs involve. Staff Sergeant Ferguson Technical Quarter Master for L.A.D.

Troop said many army units have open days for wives but not too many actually set wives to work as they did last week. One wife, Karen Turner, assisted her husband Lance Corporal Turner in carrying out "first parade" on the

"fitters M113 A.P.C," this involves checking water and oil before starting the vehicle. Karen worked with her husband all day carrying out all his daily jobs with him, right down to playing the card game "Sergeant Major" at smoko!
