MANGATEPOPO CAMP TRUST BOARD MOOTED

Tomorrow's Schools education reform has reached the Mangatepopo Camp School, with the administration of the complex soon to be taken over by a board of trustees. Details of the structure of the administration are yet to be worked out but the Wanganui Camp School Committee secretary said the board would probably include representatives from school boards of trustees, principals, teachers, Friends of Mangatepopo, the Ministry of Education and service clubs. The camp school organisation's aims are to be educational, charitable, and non-profitable in providing an accommodation base for extraclassroom activities.
