Maori parks students receive diplomas
Sir Hepi Te Heuheu is pictured with Lincoln College graduates Rakei Poha Taiaroa, Theresa Bishara and Henare Reihana and Doctor Pat Devlin outside the Whakapapa Visitors Centre. The graduates are members of the Ngato Tuwharetoa who recieved their Diplomas of Parks and Recreational Management at a special ceremony at the centre. The three graduates are the first members of the Tuwharetoa to attain the diplomas and many tribe members and friends turned out for the presentation.
