Dave and Chris Wilson have been proprietors of the Owhango Hotel for just over two and a half years. They were livmg previously in Kawhia where Dave owned and | operated a butcher's shop. | They left Kawhia when | they decided to buy the ^ Owhango Hotel. They have recently reopened the restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings for smorgasboard dinners from 6pm9pm and for smorgasboard lunches on Sundays from 12 noon2pm. There are three bar staff, two waitresses and a chef and, of course, Dave and Chris. If you want a nice quiet drink or a really exciting evening out, then your best bet is to go to the Owhango Hotel and meet Dave and his friendly staff. They are there and keen to ensure you have a good time.
