Postbank manager leaves

After eleven year's service Mr Trevor Dyke, Manager of Waiouru Post Bank, has left Waiouru.

Mr Dyke took up his new position as manager of Taihape Post bank on June 1. During the time the family has been in Waiouru Mrs Dyke has worked in the Army

messes and of late had taken up the position as Post Office General Assistant. She said they were sad to be leaving Waiouru but are still only twenty minutes away (on a good day!!). My Dyke is very involved in the Waiouru Deerstalkers Association, the search and rescue group, the Mountain Safety Council, the Rod and Gun Club and organising the annual mountain man competition. Mrs Dyke says the move will not alter their association with these clubs as "they are their life." At the moment Mr Dyke is commuting each day to Taihape until they finalise the purchase of a new house.
