ANOTHER EDITOR TRIES TO WALK ON WATER

While the mice were working the cat was shirking - on holiday in the Marlborough Sounds. Bulletin editor Robert Milne still managed to entertain a few Waimarino people while on a sailing trip - he stepped off the stem of the boat intending to end up in the dingy but the gravy boat-sized craft sank underneath him and he then tried to walk on water - only managing to keep his armpits, arms, hat holder and hat out of the briny. This caused uncontrollable mirth in wharfbound Sue "I'm Allergic to Water" Murdie, who found herself incapable of exercising her extensive lifesaving skills and he was left to save himself. Other interesting occurrences on the ocean interlude included Marie Milne's impersonation of the Lady from Atlantis - she dived overboard a swam amongst the dolphins that had eaten all the fish the holiday makers were supposed to catch (who's side is she on?)
