Therefore, in accordance with the provision of School Trustees (Elections) Regulations 1989 I decided by lot in the presence of a School Committee Member, (Dana Blackburn) that Yvonne Triggell be elected as the fifth candidate. The New Zealand 1990 Commission has been established to undertake a number of tasks and initiatives to ensure that New Zealanders are encouraged to participate in various ways during 1990. The Commission is encouraging the establishment of local voluntary committees called "NZ 1990 Community Committees" to assist with a variety of functions relating to 1990.
