And in keeping with the education theme - a recent field trip by some Raetihi School children turned out to be more memorable for both pupils and teacher than was anticipated. Teacher must have been feeling the cold that morning because she chose a particularly freshi cow pat to seat herself in, much to her chagrin and the class's amusement. The rest of the day she spent sporting a trendy khaki-coloured splotch and a distinct lingering fragrance.
