The New Zealand 1990 Commission has been established to undertake a number of tasks and initiatives to ensure that New Zealanders are encouraged to participate in various ways during 1990. The Commission is encouraging the establishment of local voluntary committees called "NZ 1990 Community Committees" to assist with a variety of functions relating to 1990. To achieve the setting up of a community committee for the Waimarino, Council is calling a preliminary public meeting to be held at 6.00 pm Wednesday 10 May 1989 at the Waimarino District Council Chambers, 15 Miro Street, Ohakune. JJL Murrihy District Manager WAIMARINO DISTRICT COUNCIL NZS 1900: MODEL BUILDING BYLAW 11 M Notice to hereby given mat at an ordinary meeting of the Waimarino District Council held on the 26th day of April 1989, the COuncil resolved by way of Special order to amend a bylaw pursuant to the Local Govemment Act 1974 and the Standards Act 1988. The short title of the bylaw to be amended is the Waimarino District Council Building Bylaw 1988. The short title of the amendment is The Waimarino District Council Building Bylaw Amendment No. 1989. The purpose of this amendrtient is the routine updating of NZS 1900: Model Building Bylaw by the addition of new chapters and deletion of superseded chapters. The following are to be added to the Bylaw: NZS 1900: Chapter 3: 1985, Amendment No. 3 1989 NZS 1900: Chapter 5: 1988, Amendment No. 1 1989 NZS 1900: Chpater 9: 1985, Amendment No. 3 1989 The following are to be deleted from the bylaws: Nil. The resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Waimarino District Council to be held at the Waimarino District Council Chambers, 15 Miro Street, Ohakune on 28 June 1989 at 7.00 pm. It is Council's intention to appoint a person from those nominated to fill this vacancy for the remainder of Council's term. JJL Murrihy District Manager WAIMARINO DISTRICT COUNCIL RANGATAUA SEWERAGE SCHEME Residents and ratepayers within the Rangataua Sewerage Reticulation Scheme are advised that the above scheme has been commissioned and is fully operational. Those ratepayers with buildings on their property must now apply to the District Council for a permit and authority to connect the scheme. No Lateral or connection fees will be payable. However, the relevant Plumbing and Drainage Fee will be payable. Notice is also given that Council intends to hold a public meeting in Rangataua to discuss any aspects of the scheme once final costings have been received for the scheme and rate and lump sum calculations have been made.
