NEW ZEALAND POST LIMITED tenders for contract postal delivery Tenders are invited for the performance of the Raetihi Postal Delivery contract. This contract is operated by bicycle, which must be supplied by the contractor. Forms of tender, including details of the delivery route and timetable plus other duties may be obtained from the Manager, New Zealand Post Limited, Raetihi. Inquiries about the delivery may be directed to Mr Don Gordon, Area Manager, Wanganui Telephone (064) 58-345. The normal contract period is three years, with the exception that this initial contract period will be slightly longer. It will commence on 20 May 1989 and finish 30 September 1992. Thereafter, the three yearly periods will commence on 1 October. If it is wished to operate to a different timetable from that specified by New Zealand Post, the tenderer is required to attach to the tender a copy of the timetable proposed. Tenders close with the Area Manager, New Zealand Post Limited, Wanganui at noon on Thursday 27 April 1989 and should be enclosed in a seaied envelope enfaced "Tender for Raetihi Postal Delivery Contract". The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
