Police station work nearly finished

Ohakune's police station is undergoing a revamp at present to provide more usable space.

As well as the extensions the existing offices are being rearanged to provide an office for the area's Traffic Officer who will move in when the project is complete, an interview room, a new sergeant's office, a new CIB office and a store room. Security of the offices will be improved, the office's computer terminal linked to the Wanganui Computer
