1990 planners needed

The 1990 Commission is looking for people interested in forming a committee to co-ordinate local 1990 commemorative activities. Also, a diary of 1990 events, one off ones and regulars, needs to be compiled for the 1990 commemorations to be successful, according to the Commission.

Events can be organised around a number of themes, or regular events modified to include the 1990 theme, says Commission advisor Paula Brettkelly. People interested in forming such a committee can contact Colleen Newton at the Ohakune Library or contact members of the Ruapehu South Business Association.
