No it isn't a shaving lesson gone wrong, it's Helen Mathews, or as she was at the time this pic was taken-Helen Forbes, a staff member at the Ohakune BNZ. She married Cpt Tom Mathews, an instructor with TF Co Waiouru, the day after BNZ staff did their traditional dastardly bride-to-be trick and tied her up outside the bank. By now the pair should be back from their honeymoon well-tired out-they've been biking around the South Island. (whew!)
