Shooters allow for Desert Fair
The Interbusiness Trophy Competition for 1989, which is run by the Waimarino Smallbore Rifle Club, will begin on Saturday March 11 at 9am. The Club members realise
that it is the same day of the Desert Fair so they are making special arrangements. Because of the large number of teams entered in the shooting competition, it was thought
desirable to commence on the Saturday and then carry over into Sunday March 12. The Competition will start on the Saturday and probably continue only until lunch to allow shooters time to go to the Desert Fair. The majority of the teams would therefore compete on Sunday March 12. It may be necessary to have one night during the week for members of
some teams to complete their team's shoot, say organisers. Club members will be flexible with times for competitors because they want to see as many businesses as possible compete say organisers. Contacts for the competition are: Bob McGuiness, phone 58553; Ken Summerhays, 54104; Lynette Maru, 54670.
