THRIFT SHOP COMMISSION

Clothing sold 'on behalf' through the Waiouru Thrift Shop will be on a 30 per cent commission basis, the shops management committee have decided. They remind people that all the profits of the shop are returned to the community by way of donations to clubs and societies. Last year $2380.29 was donated to groups within the Army Training group. The group advises that the shop, next to St James Church and behind the Post Office, is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 2pm. Clothing to be sold through the shop should be in good condition and items not sold within six weeks will be returned or can be sent to church social services.
