TUROA MAN GOES OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE?
Long playing Turoa marketing manager Andy Chapman celebrated his birthday the weekend before last (he just turned 33 and in four months he'll be 33 ^l). Well-wishers may have thought he was defecting to the north-east at his birthday celebrations - he was seen wearing a Ski Whakapapa hat, a Ski Whakapapa sweatshirt and ankle-biters at the party sneaked out and plastered his car with Ski Whakapapa stickers. It seems he didn't follow through with the defection because he spent much time following the incident scraping off the stickers. (At least the car got a cut and polish at last!) Gossip has been wondering if there' s a Turoa rule stating that staff must not wear opposition ski clothing, except in the privacy of their own homes? I
