WEATHER
Situation : A ridge of high pressure extending on to the North Island from the east is weakening. A weak front is moving northeast over the South Island today followed by a ridge of high pressure. A depression formerly Tropical Cyclone Harry is expected to move southwards over the Central Tasman on Tuesday and is likely to then move southeastwards to cross the south of the South Island about late Wednesday. Forecast: Mainly Dry through Tuesday although cloud increasing and northerlies freshening. Rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Mainly fine on Friday.
