ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A very pleasant ceremony took place in St. John's Wesleyan Church, Ponsonby, on September 16th, when MiEdwin Haddock (late of AVarkworth) Avas married to Miss E. J. Butterworth (Lily).. The ceremony Avas performed at 10 a.m. by the Eev. AY. Eeady in the presence of a large number of friends and visitors. Miss Flo. Barker acted as bridesmaid and looked neat in a costume of cream cashmere and silk. Mr Moss Haddock was best man. The bride looked charming in a dress of cream cashmere trimmed with lace and braid, the orthodox veil of tulle, and a wreath of orange blossoms. The bride carried a large bouquet of white flowers in her hand. The happycouple on leaving the vestry walked doAvn the aisle which was strewn with rose leaves and may flowers, and, reaching the door where the cab was waiting, were met Avith a perfect shoAver of rice. After an'exchange of compliments and Avith the good Avishes of all, the young couple, accompanied by the bride's father, the bridesmaid and best man drove down to town Avhen a picture of the group Avas taken. They then proceeded to the home of the bride's parents, and after a short stay left for their own home in Ponsonby.
