The splendid draught mare taken to Auckland last week by Mr AVilliams of Kaipara realised £37 10s. The grey pony which was taken up by Mr Williams at the same time, and so muchadmired here, did not enter the sale ring but was sold immediately on arrival in Auckland. The figure has not transpired.

Mr A. Hood took his well-known horse Bobbie Burns to Auckland by the s.s. Kapanui on Thursday morning. Mr Hood, we understand, has-decided to sell the horse as he has not the time at his disposal to give the horse enough attention. It is unfortunate that the district should loose the services of this popular and proved horse.
