By an error Mr and Mrs Blair's wedding appeared as having taken place on the 4th September. The correct date was the Ist September.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. offer a conveniently situated farm at their next sale in Warkworth. They will also offer 500 head cattle.
The Auckland Farmers' Union, through their auctioneer Mr G. Snook' offer 1000 head of cattle at Warkworth on Wednesday next, and hold sales at Puhoi Thursday, Wade Friday, and Kaukapakapa Saturday.

Mr John Wedding met with a painful, and what might have been a serious, accident. It appears Mr Wedding was cutting bush with a slash f hook when the tool slipped and struck him on the head inflicting a nasty cut and severing a small artery. Dr McCredie attended to tlv *=uiierer.

At the Ping Pong and Progressive Euchre Club's weekly function on Thursday evening Mr Jas. Malcolm enlivened proceedings considerably by generously offering a prize for the highest score of the evening. The nature of the prize was ke^t a profound secret until the the winner was declared, and, naturally, much excitement prevailed. Miss Becroft won the prize and amid a good deal of laughter Avas presented with a monkey on an elastic suspender. Then impreciations of various kinds were hurled at the head of the donor.
Mr W. Warm's tiap in going to Kaipara Flats last Tuesday got stuck on the Tauhoa roaduear Mr Sharpe's place. The trap had to he'unloaded and the goods placed in'Mr Shairpe^'s shed. On Wednesday when ag^in attempting the trip one of the horses pushed the other over the bndge at Mr Sharpe's, ai d much- difficulty was experience 1 in gett^f the" horse out. The hoi je; 'escaped , injury but the driver, Mr J. Wilson jun., was necessarily delayed in reaching- liis destination. Truly we are a long suffering people with tha, hards flips experienced through our rflads. \ -
