Mr Chris Dibble held a clearing sale at Mrs H. Shepherd's at Te Arai on September 2nd. All the things- sold at very satlstaetory prices. The cows sold from £3 15s to £/ 10s. The waggonette brought £20 ss. Young ca tfcle Uvugfo from £2 8s to £3 Bs. A plough horse £5 58.
Mr Christopher-Dibble reports that at bis sale at Warkworth on September :*l6th — On account of the bad day, there wag only » small yarding of stock. Those offered ii most cases found sale at satisfactory prices. Beef cows and heifers sold from £4 5s to £8 fiTA 23!*? 2? per 10° lbs ' steer **ef from £6 to £8 98 , store cattle, 2 to 3 year old steers brought £3 3s to £4 15 s , one to two year heifers brought from £3 to £3" 16s. dry cows and heifers, £2 15s to £4 ss.
