Auckland, September 18. Butter: N.Z. Dairy Association lid, factory lOd to lid,, farmers' separator or dairy Bd, second quality Id. Fresh eggs: 8d wholesale. CheesS: farmers' 3Jd, to 4£d, factory large and medium 6|d, loaf 6£d. Potatoes: Southern £4 12s 6d ex store, up-to-date seed potatoes £7 per ton. Derweftts £4 10s.

At Remuera on Thursday dairy cows were dull of sale, prices for those at profit £7 to £9 2s 6d, dry £3 10s to £5 ss. Fat young calves sold freely, small 8s to lis, medium 15s to 18s, heavy up to 655: The average number of fat cattle were yarded^and nearly all were of good quality, prices were a shade easier, yet they soli steadily at 26s to 28s per lOOlbs for steers, cows 20s to 245, steers £7 10s to £12 17s 6d, cows £5 to £8 17s 6d.
Fat sheep kept late advanced values, best wethers selling up to 33s 9d, ewes 27s 9d, hoggets 22s 6d, medium weights, mixed sexes 16s to 245. Spring lambs 9s to 16s 9d. There was a large yarding of pigs which met with keen competition, porkers 30s to 40s, heavier sorts £3, good stores 20s to 30s, small 8s to 16s.
