WcocVroek, H.ljoar, and Cl. La Ptoclio. Messrs John .Scholium, @hri?llan- Sciiiscjilca, PuJsoi- and H. Bear, AVarkwortli, were added to-"the comTiiittee,' Mr Jebson reported having intorviewtd a number of the settlers in his district, vrlio had promised to supply 100 cows, Mr Cox also had 30

Next meeting arranged for Saturday February 22nd at 3 o clock.
PUHOI
A Publcp meeting took place at the Puhoi Hallon Saturday evening last, about 35 settlers being preset. Mr Eemiger was elected to the chair, Messrs LaEoche and J. M. King ad dressed the meeting and answered numerous questions as to the working and financing of such concerns after which several gentleman present expressed their views on the question which were strongly favourable to the establishment' of a creamery at Puhoi, Tiie matter of site was discussed and it seemed the one most favoured, is a bout two miles from Puhoi on the ~\Vark\i;orth road,- with a view of meeting the large suppliers in tl-e Waiwera side. A site in the township was-also mentioned, There is'no question as to the capabilities q^he Puhoi district running a profitable creamery and we have no doubt the business capacity of the settlers will arrange the matter to the best advantage for the present, with a view .of meetingfurther requirements later on. Messrs John Scholium jr and 0. Schischka were approved to represent Puhoi on the central committee at Warkworth. Messrs Barker, Joseph Schischka, Me Elroy,. Eemiger, Parry and E'ussack were elected a locaf working committee. .The following gentlemen promised cows' for the first named site, Messrs Barker 30, Joseph Schischka 50, Eussack 40, Mcelroy 30, Parry 30 with about 20 more from smaller suppliersr.
