FARMERS' UNION WARKWORTH.
The first meeting of th* above branch took place at the Masonic Hall Warkworth on Wednesday Nov. 6th. 1901.
A fair number of settlers attended.
Mr. 8,. Jones was voted to the chair and M. "VV. Hamilton appointed secretary PKO. TE.M.
The following names were then handed in for membership, Messrs li. Jones, W. Hamilton, C. Cragg, H. Bear, Gh Cragg, T. WiUiai s, B. Cox, F. T. Munro, D. Bear, T. H. Cox, T. Parkinson and J. M. King. Mr. Hamilton proposed, Mr. Jones seconded that Mr. W. H. Cox be chairman for the <-nsuing term. Carried unanimously.
Mr.. Bear proposed, Mr. Munro seconded that Mr. W. Hamilton be sscretaiy and Treasurer. Carried unanimously.
The following committee was then elected, Messrs ,J. M, Kmg, U. Be.r, B, Jones, T. Williams and P. T, Mxmro.
Mr, C, lua, Boohe rend a letter from the Govermnent re, B.iiiy i«atrers. The next meeting is fixed for Monday !S Toy. 25.
