A great deal of interest was created here last week when it became definitely "known that the district Was to receive a visit from the Seddon Horse-. They, or rather a section of 'them, ar* rived oh Saturday evening per s.s-. Kt.titi. Upon arrival they were joined by the Wade detachment, which had ridden over early in the afternoon, and the whple company was formed up by order of its commanding officer-, Lieutenant Eeid, and jut through a short course of drill by Sergeant-Maj-or White.
\ Upon conclusion of tire drill, the .men and their 'officers wended their Vay to the Piihoi Town Hall wheiis ,'they toot part in a very enjoyable dance, which hrad been arranged. for , the evening.
