The reunion of the Albertlanders m<& jonee .again at the Pout, Albert Hall of May 29. The inevitable s-esuJt aflame thins out the old faces at these ..gatherings ■but many of the original settlers were still-to Jbe seen, and others who hod passed away-were represented by either sons, daughters, ov grandchildren' In the absence of Mr. Wifeon of PaparoafThe Eey, Rishworth presided atjthe evening lueeting, and the following, pro gram me was .gone through for the entertainment of ilie audience. The chairman's speech, ki which he stated. he had travelled up and down all New Zealand and could say, that he had not seen a better class of people than che Albertlanders as a body of pioneer settlers. He said, as they had a long programme encores could not be al. lowed. This was resented on a few items given,. among which was the Musical Drill of the school -children wliich und.es: .the able management of jMr. Gr. B. Real (licad Teacher) and Mrs Glover (pi-no) was a great success' Great credit, is due to those responsible for the following programme which: was an unusually good" one:—^ Instxumentril music, cello, and piano w Mrs. Shoeeniith, two songs, (rendered with good expression and finish.) Recitation, Miss Blackburn, "The Tireman's wedding." Musical drill, school |boys, ', Dumb-bells and Military:'Duet, Mrs. A. Worker and C, Hefford "Anchored." Trio;" Violin, Master jlvan Lettih, piano, Miss Linda Be- ! croft, Cello, Mr. Nicholson. Musical Drill by school girls (ably led by Mrs, 'Glover on the jwano. Instrumental music for juniors, violin, Miss May .Wharpe, master b! ; Armitage, 2nd. violin, Miss Muriel Be- ; croft, Maste.r Ivan Lettin.

usual votes of thanks and "God Save the King," brought the pleasant gathering of Men-Is to a, close. After which the young folk, engaged in a couple cf hours\lance.
